Improv Cincinnati’s Ten Year Anniversary Show

Improv Cincinnati’s Ten Year Anniversary Celebration:
Featuring Bluebird Improv Collective and Orange Tuxedo

Improv Cincinnati celebrates ten years of bold, theatrical improv and sketch comedy with a one-night-only anniversary event. Joining the celebration are internationally touring improv powerhouses Bluebird and the Los Angeles duo Orange Tuxedo for an unforgettable night of once-in-a-lifetime comedy.

About Bluebird
Bluebird is a collection of legendary comedians, who tour the world, performing shows that are fully improvised, once in a lifetime experiences—each and every show.

Made up of some of comedy’s most recognizable faces from TV and movies as well as some that will become your new favorites, Bluebird was formed out of a shared, (still) burning love for improvising and entertaining audiences.

Scheduled to appear: Matt Walsh (Veep, Ghosts, Co-Founder UCB), Joe Canale (Mindy Project, Second City Main Stage), Brad Morris (AP Bio), and Marc Evan Jackson (The Good Place, Brooklyn 99). But, there are always a few other people that contribute to the show just as much as the performers. The audience!

Each and every show is completely unscripted and totally unique. The reason for that? Bluebird uses a short conversation with a couple of audience members at the top of the show to inspire the spontaneous, unhinged and beautifully hilarious comedy mayhem that ensues.
The shows are a uniquely satisfying live comedy entertainment experience and because each audience is different—so is each show. If you don’t believe us, see two!

About Orange Tuxedo
Orange Tuxedo (Los Angeles, CA) is the acclaimed two-person improv team of Craig Cackowski and Carla Cackowski, a husband-and-wife duo known for their show “Close Quarters,” which builds grounded, character-driven relationships from a single shared location. Craig is a Second City Mainstage veteran who has appeared in Community, Veep, Drunk History, and The Sex Lives of College Girls, while Carla toured internationally with The Second City and is a writer, director, and podcast creator. Together, Orange Tuxedo has performed and taught at major improv festivals across the United States and Europe, bringing sharp characters, emotional depth, and effortless chemistry to every fully improvised performance.

Kevin James Thornton & Friends present Beth Stelling

Celebrated comedian and new Cincinnatian Kevin James Thornton (Apple TV, Netflix is a Joke) kicks off his Queen City residency with a brand-new series at intimate Memorial Hall. Kevin hosts an evening with a surprise national headliner along with top local and regional talent.

For April 10, the cat’s already out of the bag… Kevin is thrilled to welcome Beth Stelling (Netlflix, Rick and Morty, Red Oaks).

He has nearly 3 million followers across social media with combined views of over a billion. His first special “Be Yourself” was released by Comedy Dynamics and can be seen on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. Thornton signed to Stimola Literary for his first autobiographical book “Big Baby” due for a June 2026 release with Hachette Publishing. His 2020-25 tours saw sold out shows around the world where a recent review of his show at The Stand in Newcastle UK said, “Warm, witty and disarmingly self-deprecating… There is a tender centre to Thornton that makes his comedy sing; a delicate, relatable touch that left the crowd buoyed up and thirsty for more.” (Narc Magazine, UK)
