ROOTED
Directors: Elke Hounshell & Ash Carroll
Runtime: 3:35:00
Rooted’ is a dream-like experimental short film created by student filmmakers Elke Hounshell and Ash Carroll as part of a summer employment program in the arts with The Well’s True Body Project. This short film explores how nature is a healing practice to the bodies, and how many connections we have to nature without even realizing it. It captures how the human body connects with nature, the river, roots, emotions, and everything else. Nature makes Elke and Ash feel more connected to themselves.

UNCLE TIM
Director: Beatrice Howard-Gabel
Runtime: 2:29:00
Uncle Tim is tied to a chair and the clock is ticking…

NO SMALL MATTER
Director: India Anne Mitchell
Runtime: 5:37:00
In the shadows of a worsening mental health crisis, thousands of lives are lost to a revolving door of shelters and institutions. Through the lens of a 15-year-old filmmaker, No Small Matter pulls back the curtain on a radical shift: a court designed not to punish, but to provide a final, desperate lifeline. The film explores whether a courtroom can truly offer the dignity of a home and the hope of recovery to those the world has forgotten.

VIVIANNA
Director: Lukas Leu
Runtime: 15:00:00
After a fatal accident, a teenage boy drifts through fragmented memories of his relationship with the girl he loves, confronting regret, connection, and what it means to be present before time runs out.
