Experience a concert built around four vintage National resonator instruments that have been professionally restored to their original playing and sounding condition by their owner, Bill Hulsizer. Six celebrated Cincinnati guitarists take turns with a rhythm section throughout the night, rotating solos, duos and small combinations that let each instrument speak in a different setting.
Among the evening’s discoveries will be an adaptation of a never-recorded ragtime composition by Artie Matthews of the Cincinnati Cosmopolitan School, arranged for all six guitarists.

Memorial Hall celebrates a decade of jazz in Beaux Arts splendor with the 2026-27 “Giants of Jazz at the Memo” season. Dig the diamond anniversary with a star-studded assemblage of the titans who built the series including Ricky Nye, Mike Wade, Dixie Karas, Ron Jones and more. In December, hear those sleighbells swing as the series takes a festive turn with holiday favorites including the Phil DeGreg Trio’s perennially sold-out A Charlie Brown Christmas and Mandy Gaines and Eric Lechliter’s Ella Fitzgerald tribute “Mandy Wishes You a Swingin’ Christmas.”
