Matinee Musicale Presents Pene Pati
Winner of the 2012 Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge ‘Bel Canto’ Award
A native of Samoa, raised in New Zealand, Pati studied at the University of Auckland and the Wales International Academy of Voice. He won first prize at the 2014 Montserrat Caballé International Arts Competition. He is a graduate of the Merola Opera Program at San Francisco Opera, where he earned praise for his 2017 debut as the Duke in Rigoletto.
