Jazz at the Memo presents RJQ plays “Music of the Jazz Giants”

Bop those winter blues as Jazz at the Memo returns to historic Memorial Hall. By popular demand, the series returns this winter to the beautiful and acoustically superb Anderson Theater, giving an opportunity for casual fans and jazz aficionados alike to select seats where they feel most comfortable. Enjoy the finest of Cincinnati’s thriving jazz scene, including some of the region’s premier women and BIPOC artists.

Memorial Hall is committed to keeping patrons and performers safe through the following measures:

  • All patrons (age 12 & over) must provide proof of vaccination, or negative test within 72 hours of the performance.
  • Masks required for patrons at all times when not actively drinking a beverage.
  • Utilizing safer steam heat to warm the building.
  • Constant cycling of fresh air into the building via our Dedicated Outdoor Air System.

Please see our full health screening protocol for more information.

Beginning in May, the party moves across the street to for Washington Park’s “Jazz at the Park,” Monday evenings through September (excepting holidays).

The Ron Jones Quartet makes its Memorial Hall debut performing a variety of music by luminaries including Duke Ellington, Julian Cannonball Adderley, Wayne Shorter, Cedar Walton, Billy Holiday, Joe Henderson and others. A wonderful evening celebrating true Giants of Jazz.

Featuring Ron Jones (alto saxophone), Rob Allgeyer (piano), Aaron Jacobs (bass), Jim Leslie (drums)
