Centennial Komedy Show

Get ready to laugh your way into a century of excellence with the Cincinnati Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc! The Centennial Komedy Show proudly presents an electrifying evening of side-splitting entertainment featuring three Kappa comedic powerhouses. This event is open to the public. Anyone who can appreciate great comedy and wants to support a great cause should join us for a night that promises non-stop laughter. Doors open at 6 pm, show starts promptly at 7 pm. Immediately after the show, join the comics for an epic after-party with a DJ in the Memorial Hall Ballrooms to close out the night. Show tickets also include admission to the after-party. Proceeds benefit the Cincinnati Alumni Chapter Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation which provides scholarships and funds other impactful service and donations to the Cincinnati community. Tickets will not be sold at the door and must be purchased in advance.

Finesse Mitchell’s Bio
Finesse Mitchell has been seen almost everywhere. He’s currently on Hulu’s History Of The World Part II playing the Rev. Jesse Jackson opposite of Wanda Sykes. He’s guest-hosted for The Wendy Williams talk show on Fox. He’s a guest judge on Netflix’s, “Is It Cake?”, a favorite celeb guest on Pictionary, and Fox’s last Lego-Masters Bricktacular holiday event.

Finesse has been a multi-faceted actor, author, and stand-up comedian with four one-hour comedy specials titled, “Snap Famous”, “One Man Monster”, “The Spirit Told Me To Tell You” and 2023’s self-produced “Slightly Offensive” under his belt.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Finesse graduated from the University of Miami and is a distinguished member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. He is also a former student-athlete who was a walk-on for the National Champion Hurricanes football team where he played Hurricane greats like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Warren Sapp, and Ray Lewis.

Finesse entered the comedy scene in 1999 with appearances on BET’s Comic View and Comedy Central. In 2003, he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for three seasons where he played the memorable “Starrkeisha” and frequently appeared on “Weekend Update” with Seth Myers as Morgan Freeman, 50 Cent, and Bobby Brown. In addition to being an SNL Alum, his other television acting credits include NBC’s Kenan, Fox’s Outmatched, ABC’s Splitting Up Together, Showtime’s Roadies, Disney Channel’s A.N.T. Farm (China’s Dad), and TBS Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns.

Mitchell has also appeared on daytime talk shows such as The Talk on CBS, The Drew Barrymore Show, The Real, Dish Nation, and NBC’s Today Show. During late-night, you might have seen him on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Seth Meyers, The Arsenio Hall Show, and Comic’s Unleashed just to name a few.

Joe Clair, host, comedian, radio personality and on-air veteran is no stranger when it comes to Washington, D.C. This native of Seat Pleasant, MD is the current host of WPGC’s 95.5 – “Joe Clair Morning Show”, taking the morning airwaves by storm and making the drive to work much more enjoyable for listeners across the DMV. He is a proud graduate of Morgan State University, where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, but found his passion for comedy, music and communications.

Joe Clair is a multifaceted entertainer with a career spanning two decades. You can call him Joe, Cleezy or Mr. Clair. Whatever you call him, it is undeniable that Joe Clair is 100%. Whether it is in the radio, comedy game, hosting arena, acting or community service, Joe Clair definitely gets it in.

Joe got his start on HBO’s famed Def Comedy Jam, before gaining national notoriety as host of BET’s famed show “Rap City,” where he introduced the world to hip-hop and rap super-stars. He is most notably known as the last person to interview hip-hop icon Notorious B.I.G. While finding notoriety on Rap City, Joe was offered an opportunity to launch a career in radio on the #1 radio station in the DMV, WPGC’s Sunday Night Hip-Hop Show with Big Tigger before making his way to Hot 97 in New York City, Sirius XM-Foxxhole in Los Angeles and V-103 in Atlanta.

From 2000 through 2004, Clair hosted “Madd Sports”, where he interviewed sports greats ranging from Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Shaq and Kobe. In 2007, Joe hosted the BET, “Take the Cake”, a nightly game show seen by millions. He also served as moderator/ambassador for BET’s ‘Rap-It-Up’ – AIDS awareness and prevention campaign.

Joe has a huge passion to help others which is constantly displayed through his call for community service. He continues to show the community he cares accepting up to 10 appearances a month on countless speaking engagements and appearances with elementary and high schools, organizations, youth programs, community town hall forums and fundraisers, etc. All while currently serving as the lead weekly mentor and instructor of music for the DC Covenant House, engaging and inspiring students with skills to produce music.

Clair’s night time gig as a stand-up comic has lined his pockets for years. With appearances all over the country in clubs, colleges and arenas, Joe has gained an underground following. He is bold, witty, crazy, spirited and animated when it comes to the jokes and the mic.

This country boy with a great name began his comedy career telling jokes to the chickens in his family’s barn. Since living in Los Angeles, he has filmed over 30 national commercials and a plethora of bad independent projects he doesn’t want anyone to see. Known for his hilarious facial expressions and animated impressions, Jackson McQueen is energetic, entertaining, and definitely a must see.
